Caster maintenance
The user is responsible for the proper maintenance and operation of
wheeled equipment. Improper
use or overload shall be avoided. When the goods are very heavy,
they shall be placed on the
vehiclewith care. High speed driving on rough roads or heavy
objects hitting the wheels will cause
damage to the wheels or equipment. Therefore, please check the
support and fasteners regularly:
tighten the loose axle and nut, and check whether the weld or
support plate is damaged. Overloading
or impact can cause distortion of the support. The twisted support
makes the heavy load tilt and press
on individual wheels, resulting in premature wheel damage. If it is
an insert bar caster, tighten the nut
or rivet it firmly, and ensure that the equipment installation
support is not bent and the insert bar is
installed correctly. When installing casters, lock nuts or lock
washers should be used. The expansion
plug-in caster shall be installed to ensure that the plug-in rod is
firmly installed in the casing.
Lubrication: add lubricating oil regularly, and the wheels and
movable bearings can be used for a long
time. Applying grease to the friction parts of axle, sealing ring
and roller bearing can reduce friction and
make rotation more flexible. Normally, lubrication shall be carried
out every six months. The wheels of the
car should be lubricated after monthly cleaning.
Wheels: visually inspect the wheels for wear. The poor rotation of
the wheel is related to fine red, rope
and other sundries. The anti entanglement cover can shade the
entanglement of these sundries. Loose
or tight casters are another factor. Replace damaged wheels /
casters to avoid unstable rotation. After
checking and replacing the wheel, ensure that the axle is tightened
with locking gasket and nut. Because
the wheel axle is loose, it will cause friction and jamming between
the wheel width and the support.
Replacement wheels and bearings shall be provided to avoid shutdown
losses.
Casters: if the movable steering is too loose, it must be replaced
immediately. If the caster center rivet is
fixed by nut, it must be firmly locked. If the movable steering
cannot rotate freely, check the ball for
corrosion or dirt. If fixed casters are installed, ensure that the
caster support is not bent.

iron pins on the tire surface. The cleaning methods of Hanke
castors are summarized as follows:
1. Check the visual wear degree of tire surface. The "grinding
point" of the tire surface can indicate the
accumulation of foreign matters, such as thread, iron wire and
other sundries may wind around the wheel.
Take out the bolts and nuts on the wheel and clean up the sundries.
Check whether the wheel bearing is
damaged. If the parts are not damaged, they can be reassembled and
continue to be used. If the wheel
is often entangled by sundries, it is recommended to assemble an
anti winding cover to avoid it.
2. If impurities are stuck on the casters, it is easy to form
footprints on the road after walking. You can
clean them with industrial scrub hand sanitizer or diesel oil.
